  • Assist: ASSIST is an online student-transfer information system that shows how course credits earned at a California Community College can be applied when transferred to a public California university (CSU or UC).  Students also consult ASSIST to identify major preparation as well as to explore the majors available at university campuses in California.
  • Associate Degree for Transfer Major & Campus Search: Use this search to find a community college that has an AA-T or AS-T program you’re interested in. 

    You can also see which CSU campuses have a program that’s similar to the ADT program you want to complete or have completed.  To earn an ADT from Grossmont College, refer to the Grossmont College Catalog for ADT requirements.  

  • California Community College HBCU Transfer: Discover your opportunity as a California Community College student to secure guaranteed admission to one of 39 partner HBCU institutions!
  • CollegeSource: CollegeSource Online is a database of over 150,000 digital college catalogs, institution profiles, transcript keys, and other critical resources.  This website is fully accessible from any computer terminal on the campus of Grossmont Community College.  Parts of the site can be accessed from off-campus.
  • College Board: College Board is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity.  College Planning and College Search tools are available.  Students who have completed AP exams, may also request their transcripts from the College Board or view scores online.
  • College Tour Hub: An interactive map, just like searching Airbnb!  Free to use, no sign up necessary.  View virtual college tours of hundreds of colleges and universities across the US.
  • Free College Guide for First Gens - CRACK THE CODE.  A Guide to College Success for First Gens is a free, downloadable guide that provides information on a variety of topics. The advice in the book revolves around recent interviews with sixty current First Gen students and recent graduates as well as substantial research. The book is available for FREE download from Book Funnel which allows readers to download to a variety of devices. Click here for the FREE download code. For those who prefer an actual book, a paperback version is available on Amazon for $6.29.
  • RACC (Regional Admissions Counselors of California): The Regional Admission Counselors of California (RACC) is composed of college admission professionals who represent colleges and universities outside the state of California.  Members work closely with students and families of California while partnering with high school, community college and independent counselors throughout the state.  All of these out-of-state institutions are NACAC or WACAC members and have dedicated the necessary resources for a regional office to serve Californians by providing information on educational opportunities out of state.  What can RACC do for you and your students?  We are a resource.  The admission professionals of RACC are available to assist you and your students with questions about their institutions and the admission process.  View the RACC Member College/University Directory.  They also have a YouTube Channel where you'll find a variety of transfer related videos.
  • Roadtrip Nation: Looking for the next step to take toward your future career?  Roadtrip Nation's Roadmap to Careers tool may be just what you need.  Roadmap to Careers lets you explore careers and majors related to your interests, then gives you activities and actionable steps to help you define your own road forward.
  • SDSU TAP:  This program is provided to help you identify courses required to meet transfer admission requirements for SDSU. It contains information about transfer courses that may be used to meet General Education Requirements and Preparation for the Major. It can also be used to help you identify individual courses that are equivalent to courses offered at SDSU.
  • SDSU Transfer Pathways: Prospective SDSU applicants are encouraged to visit SDSU Transfer Pathways to determine if your major admits using an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT: AA-T or AS-T) for admission to that major.  If your major has an "X" in the ADT Pathway column you will have priority consideration for admission to that major by earning an ADT from one of SDSU's local area colleges, including Grossmont College.  ADT requirements can be found in the Grossmont College Catalog.   If an ADT Pathway is NOT an option for your major, visit SDSU TAP to review your required major prep.  Note that students who are pursuing majors indicated with an "X" in the General Pathway column ONLY will have priority admission if 100% of your college coursework has been taken at local-area community colleges.  If your major has a TAG pathway option, you will have guaranteed admission by meeting eligibility requirements.
