Articulation is the process of developing a formal, written and published agreement that identifies courses on a "sending" campus that are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, a specific course requirement at a "receiving" institution. Successful completion of an articulated course assures the student and the faculty that the student has taken the appropriate course, received the necessary instruction and preparation and is ready to progress to the next level.
If you have questions regarding Grossmont College Articulation, contact the Articulation Officer, M. Dee Aceves.
The following web site has been put up by the U.S. Department of Education. It tells you what accrediting agencies (if any) accredit an institution in the U.S. Accreditation can affect the transferability or articulation of courses, along with validity of certificates and degrees.
