February 1 to June 1 for applicants who are living in their home country.
February 1 to June 15 for students transferring from institutions in the U.S.

Upon acceptance to the college, you will be required to attend the International Student Orientation. Visit this page for orientation dates and for more information.
You must submit the documents below to our International Admissions Specialist by the application deadline. Be sure to send us original and legible copies.
I. Sponsor Certification Form
Submit Sponsor Certification form, signed by your sponsor. This form indicates that the person who signs the form is willing and financially able to support you as an International Student for the duration of your studies at Grossmont College.
II. Financial Support Document
Submit proof of financial support demonstrating that you or your sponsor can meet the minimum estimated tuition and living expenses.
It is estimated that you will need a minimum of $32,417 per year.
Acceptable documents include but are not limited to (according to DHS.gov):
Personal, family or relative bank statements
Documentation from a sponsor including official bank statement or bank letter from a financial institution
Financial aid letters
Scholarship letters
Letter from an employer showing annual salary
NOTE: Please keep a copy of the sponsor form and financial proof for your record. You must
bring these documents when applying for your F-1 visa and upon entering the United
States.
Estimated Annual Expenses for S.Y. 2024 - 2025 (subject to change):
Tuition and fees: $9,692
Living Expenses: $22,725
Total Expenses: $32,417
Submit official diploma or certificate from High School/secondary school and/or transcripts from any college/universities you have attended.
The documents do not need to be translated.
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after arrival to the United States.
For Transfer Students Only: Submit a copy of your F-1 visa and I-94 print-out.
You may retrieve your number from I-94 Official Website and the I-20 from your current or most recent school.
Students must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:
There is an on-campus intensive English program available through American Collegiate English (ACE) for those who do not have a score of iBT 45. No TOEFL is required for students transferring from ACE to Grossmont College.
Grossmont College offers an Institutional English Proficiency Assessment. This is a pass / fail assessment. The English proficiency score is good for 1 year and the assessment test can be taken once per application period.

Payment of the tuition and fees are due upon registration. A payment or installment plan is also available. Students will be instructed on registration procedures and the payment plan option during the mandatory Orientation.

An F-1 student must have 12 units each semester to be considered a full-time student.
There are classes that are Zero Textbook Costs or Open Education Resource, so there will be low or no cost in textbooks.
