Raymundo Quezada is the Department Chair of the (newly named) Ethnic, Gender, and Social Justice Studies Department at Grossmont College. He teaches classes in the Sociology of Race and Ethnicity along with Early and Modern Chicana/o/x History. He works with Human Resources and Professional Development by creating curriculum, training faculty and staff, and guiding students on how to address and resist systemic racism within the state and community. His research interests include using student data to create and implement culturally relevant educational experiences through educational excursions and study abroad opportunities specifically designed for the modern community college student. He earned in BA in History from the University of San Diego in 2010 and an MA in Social Science from CSU San Bernardino in 2013. |
