Sources and Permission of Use
No archive would be complete without formally recognizing the individuals and agencies
who gave of their time for no other reason than a collegial love of archival study.
Therefore, considerable appreciation is due to the following individuals who, on behalf
of their schools, colleges, libraries, and museums, provided official permission of
use for many dozens of images and documents that appear (or will appear) in this project. Many
of them were kindred spirits, dedicated volunteers to the preservation of the institutional
