Physics

Are you the next Einstein?

From sub-atomic particles to the scale of the Universe - and everything in between - our department exists to help students discover the laws and principles that we use to explain and predict physical phenomena. Our courses are designed to provide students with the scientific literacy they need - for an increasingly technological society, and for lifelong learning. Our Physics courses for science majors will prepare students for the next level of their education before they enter the workforce, as professionals with a strong background in Physics that will serve them well in their careers.

Duration
We offer a local Associate of Science (AS) degree, and an Associate of Science for Transfer Degree in Physics. These degrees can be earned in 4 semesters if you are a full-time student and prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution.
