Need help accessing your account or need one created?
The district will soon be implementing SSO and Zoom accounts for faculty/staff will
be auto-provisioned. In the meantime, if you have issues accessing your Zoom account
or need one created please reach out to isops@gcccd.edu.

Software Update
Software programs may on occasion require updates to get the latest security patches
and new features. Generally Zoom will auto-update, if it is stuck or not updating
properly please follow the steps below:
Reinstall and Update Zoom
WINDOWS - Uninstall the old Zoom software
- You will need to know the "administrator" password that is set up on your computer.
If this is your office computer, please call the Helpdesk for assistance.
- Open the Start menu > type "control panel" > click on "control panel"
- Under "Programs" click "Uninstall a program"
- Look for "Zoom" in the list of installed programs and click "uninstall" at the top
of the window.
APPLE - Uninstall the old Zoom software
- You will need to know the "administrator" password that is set up on your computer.
If this is your office computer, please call the Helpdesk for assistance.
- Open the Zoom desktop application
- Select zoom.us at the top of your screen and select Uninstall Zoom
- Select OK to confirm uninstalling the Zoom desktop application and all of its components.
To install the new Zoom software:
- Visit www.zoom.us/download and download the "Zoom client for meetings" for PC or Apple (depending on your system)
- Run the downloaded file to install the newest version of Zoom.
