Wi-Fi Hotspots
To facilitate distance learning and work-from-home, Grossmont College has obtained
a limited number of Wi-Fi Hotspots.
What Hotspots Do
These devices work off of a cellular signal to provide a mobile Wi-Fi Internet access
point for your devices. The quality/speed of the Wi-Fi Internet connection depends
upon the cellular reception in your area.
Who May Use Wi-Fi Hotspots
They are available for use by current students, faculty, and staff.
How to Obtain a Hotspot
If you are a current student:
- You may checkout a Hotspot by visiting the Library's Circulation Desk on the 1st Floor
- Service is active through the end of your registered term/semester
Troubleshooting
- If you already have a Hotspot and need assistance, please see our Quick Start Guide.
- Hotspot service is provided by T-Mobile and quality is dependent on reception in your
area. If you are experiencing poor Internet quality, please try relocating to another
area
- Please contact Library Circulation for all other issues. If your Hotspot has become damaged or inoperable, please report
it right away
