ARABIC CLUB

Purpose: Introduce the Arabic culture to the Grossmont Community and share its various
educational, social, artistic, linguistic, and cultural manifestations and expressions.
ART CLUB
Meeting Time: Tuesday & Thursday, 2:00-5:00pm, Building 27, Room 207
Purpose: We aim to give further studio time and resources outside of designated classes
for student who do not have otherwise available resources beyond the campus. We have
to expose them to various mediums of art through a number of workshops. Finally to
give back to our community and school.
CALIFORNIA NURSING STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION at GROSSMONT COLLEGE
Meeting Time: 1 Monday per month: 8/26/24, 9/23/24, 10/21/24, 11/18/24, 11:00-12:00pm,
Building 24, Room 201.
Purpose: The mission of the California Nursing Student’s Association leads by example,
creating a statewide community of politically conscious, tech savvy, and socially
aware nursing students. CNSA at GC fosters the transition of the student to the role
of professional nurse through the development of leadership, activism, and advocacy.
CNSA supports scholarship, volunteerism, and mentorship to influence nursing education
and nursing care in California.
CALWORKS CLUB

Purpose: The mission of the CalWORKS Club is bringing awareness of student parents
needs to the campus community as they work toward self-sufficancy by achieving their
education goals.
CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY (CVT) CLASS OF 2025 CLUB
Meeting Time: Monday, 10:15am, Building 34
Purpose: The purpose of this organization shall be to unify the CVT class of 2025
to organize fundraisers and product sales for a graduation celebration.
CHINESE CLUB

Purpose: Our purpose is to encourage people to learn Chinese and take an interest
in the culture.
CLAY CLUB
Meeting Time: 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 12:30-1:30pm, 27-202 Kiln Yard
Purpose: To cultivate creativity and community through the art of ceramics, providing supportive
space for students of all skill levels to learn, create and share their passion for
ceramics
COMPUTER SCIENCE AND CYBERSECURITY ORGANIZATION CLUB
Meeting Time: Mondays, 12:30pm, Building 20, Room 126
Purpose: The mission of the Computer Science and Cyber Security Organization is to
empower students through hands-on learning and collaboration, foster innovation, creative
thinking and tackling any problems our students may face in their careers.
CONSERVATION CLUB
Meeting Time: Fridays, 10:00am -12:00pm, Room 30-112
Purpose: The purpose of the Conservation Club is to take small steps to contribute
to big improvements to the environment and community to foster an environmental justice
ethic and promote nature for all.
ENGINEERING DESIGN CLUB
Meeting Time: Fridays, 1:30-3:00pm, Room 34-108
Purpose: At the engineering design club our mission is to inspire innovation by offering
students hands-on opportunities to design, build, and tackle real-world challenges.
We focus on fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and technical skills through collaborative
projects, workshops, and competitions. All the while making sure to have fun. Our
goal is to prepare students for successful engineering careers while enjoying the
creative process.
EOPS CLUB

Purpose: Different paths, same destination: The mission of the EOPS CLub is to encourage
all new students to enroll. We want to focus on out reach and volunteering.
GRIFFIN STUDENT PRODUCTIONS CLUB
Meeting Time: Wednesday 1:30- 2:30 | Thursday 12:00-1:00, Room 20-134
Purpose: To inspire student filmmakers and newcomers alike to create films, shows,
or other media and collaborate with various clubs, organizations, and departments
at Grossmont College and beyond.
INTERNATIONAL CLUB
Meeting Time: Tuesday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm, Room 10-106 (the College Conference room)
Purpose: Shall provide a forum for the interaction of American and International students
to promote cultural enhancement of all students through social, cultural and educational
events and activities and to assist new students in adapting to college life on campus
and beyond.
JAPANESE CLUB
Meeting Time: The first and fourth Wednesday of the Month, 1:10pm, Room 60-207
Purpose: Be prepared to learn about Japanese culture in the Grossmont community by
learning about its traditions, festivities, history and much more! Join us in making
an unforgettable club experience.
JAZZ CLUB
Meeting Time: Every Wednesday 2:00-4:00pm / Friday 3:00-5:00pm, Room 26-221
Purpose: To provide a space for students to listen, perform, and learn about Jazz
Music.
JESUS CLUB

Purpose: To exist to glorify God through uniting believers, studying the Bible, and
sharing the gospel with others.
MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION CLUB
Meeting Time: Second Tuesday of each month, 3:30-5:00pm
Purpose: The Muslim Student Association Club is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding
of Islamic values, nurturing students engagement in the study of Islam, and actively
contributing to our community through volunteer initiatives. We aim to inspire a culture
of respect, compassion, and service while promoting the richness and diversity of
Islamic heritage.
SCIENCE CLUB

Purpose: We are a club aimed toward the enrichment of student knowledge focused in

STUDENT VETERAN ORGANIZATION (SVO) CLUB

WOMEN IN STEM
