Mail Center

Outgoing mail slots are located in the Business Communications Services lobby. The outgoing mail is picked up daily during regular business days at 2:00 pm.  Please use the appropriate slot. If envelopes are unsealed, keep flaps open. Secure all bundles (two or more pieces) with rubber bands which are available by the lobby mail slots. Attach a paper clip to international mail to alert mail processor that special postage is needed. Please contact the mail processor for assistance with special mail (express mail, global priority, priority mail, certified, & registered, etc...).  Personal packages cannot be mailed or received at the Campus Mail Center.

Packages received at the Mail Center for faculty, staff and departments, are placed in your mailbox. If it is an oversized package, you will receive a notice in your mailbox of where to find that package.  It will either be placed on the bottom shelf near your mailbox or it will be with the Mail Processor as noted on the notice in your mailbox.

There is a mailbox for each full-time and part-time instructor. They are located in the Mail Center.

The mail center offers discounts on first and third class mailings if they meet certain regulations. Please check with the mail processor or the Business Communications Services (BCS) supervisor before printing, to receive proper discounts for large mailings. Printing order forms must have Mail Center or BCS approval signatures. Please plan at least a week ahead when planning a large mailing.

Postage stamps are available for purchase for personal use by employees from the Mail Processor and the BCS Office.

Class work submitted by students will be date validated and put in faculty mailboxes by the end of the work day. Class work is accepted at the Mail Center or at the BCS Counter up to 15 minutes prior to closing time. Instructors returning student materials for student pick-up should leave the material with the college operator, not in the instructor mailbox. the college does not pay for postage on returning student mail by the U.S. Mail. If the student wants their work mailed, they are to provide the instructor with a self-addressed stamped envelope.
