Chinese

A fourth of the world's population speaks Chinese, and China itself is rapidly gaining status as a major player in world geopolitics, especially in world economics. Chinese is one of the few living languages whose recorded history reaches back 5000 years, and Chinese culture is vital in understanding most Eastern philosophies and arts: many Asian countries, including Japan, Korea and Vietnam, have integrated or developed Chinese language into their own national tongue, and Chinese culture into their own unique ethnic culture. Chinese language is the most used language in the world, not only inside China, Hong King, Macao, Taiwan, and Singapore, but also in numerous other countries around the world.
