Jazz Ensemble
The Grossmont College Jazz Ensemble is a long standing tradition in the music department.
Comprised of trumpets, trombones, saxophones, rhythm section and vocalists, this ensemble
focuses on the varied composers of the big band genre, including Duke Ellington, Count
Basie and other modern composers. The ensemble performs regularly throughout San Diego
County at public and private concerts. Contact director and Music Department Chair,
